I just recently was asked if I would like another cat. A good friend of my oldest daughter and myself found a lonely cat at an abandoned house.. Now keep in mind, she is a dog lover, and has never really been around cats... So she brought what she thought was a small little female cat...And my first thought was, whoa, that is TOM if I ever saw one, and a big one at that...lol
He is so loving, and loveable too, and has crawled into all of out hearts here. I took the cat to be checked to see if " she" needed surgery, since we have so many cats running around and really do not need any kitties. And guess what I was told ? " It'a a Boy, and a big boy at that..." And I learned that he had already had his surgery, so after a simple rabie shot, we just came home to settle in... Though this cat came to us being called Pumpkin, yes he has orange fur, well that and white ...My youngest grandson said he looked like a BUDDY... so he is now known as Buddy Boy.
And he is getting so much love.I think he likes to be spoiled...
I wanted to thank my friend for giving me the opportunity to help this sweet cat, and give him a loving home and also thank the very kind lady at the clinic for being such a generous person. She has a foundation to help deter the high costs of taking care of cats..
These cards are both basic, or extremely simple but come from my heart, with a lot of THANKS. I did add some of the dp to the inside of each card to add some fun .
Thanks for stopping by, I will see you all soon...
I will post a few pictures of all three of my cats and of course my Daisy Girl, my Shih Tzu soon...

Happy Spring
I do not know about where you are, but we are having some great weather to welcome SPRING. I decided what better way to start spring, than to do a Perfect Sentiments challenge.
This challenge we were given 5 colors and were asked to use three on our card. I chose the rose color of Regal Rose, the pink color of Pretty in Pink and white...Yes that was one of the colors I saw...
There was a shade of blue and one of red as well .
We also were to use an EASTER sentiment on the front of the card...That is it !
So here is my take on the challenge.I love this stamp set from Darcies, sweet sweet duck images with just the right words to go with them.
Of course I had to add some bling : )
I hope you are having beautiful weather like we are and can enjoy all of your SPRING ...See you all soon...

Another Kind Of Green : )
I am enjoying our simply beautiful weather, and it has gotten me in the mood to play. After enjoying the sunshine, and seeing the grass starting to turn GREEN, I come in all energized and ready to play in my craft room.
I had started this scrap book page last week and today it was so easy to finish it.
I used an older stamp set called So Much from SU, and created my own back ground paper... Since the picture was printed slightly off set,
I followed that look with placing the picture really off set on the dp.
The picture was so full of color and told its own story so I wanted the rest to be subtle. I added the big flowers to add some balance and fun, oh and some bling too.
This is my youngest grand daughter, and the best blessing in my life last year. She is so happy, and full of love and brings us all such pleasures... Her smile is the best medicine.
Her grandpa Wally would be so proud, as he did not like peas either...
This is why I love to scrap book, I can tell our stories, any way I want to...
I will be back with some cards in a day or so, I am working on a couple of challenges. So I hope you will stop back and check those out... Til then, enjoy everyday, Smile and share a smile with some one...

Happy St Patty's Day
Hello, wow March is blowing right on by. I hope no one has blown away... I did find a quiet moment to play and get one card made for St Patty's Day...
Our wonderful group of ladies that share goodies each month is always fun, and in this current package we had some sweet things to create for the day of green : )
This card is basic, simple and quick...I used a punch to add some dimension, I added some bling to make it happy... I was able to use a white card base, I rarely do that any more. I am afraid of taking away from the pretty-ness of the card. But I thought in this case it was fine to do it this way. I cut the wide ribbon into a banner, instead of fussing with a bow
( yep Krista was too busy to come tie a bow...lol )
I have cards to share from a gathering we were a part of a week ago, I hope to get the cards scanned in or pictures taken so I can do that soon...So please stop back soon.
So for the Irish souls out there, I wish you a day of wonderful Irish Blessings and Love, and for those without the Irish blood,
I wish you a day of Blessings , and Love : )
Thanks for stopping in, Smile now and share some happiness...

MISS DIZZY LIZZY COMES FOR TEA
Our Teapot Tuesday challenge this week was to include the elements of navy blue and burgundy colors, books, royalty, as in Queen Elizabeth's history, BOOKS BOOKS AND MORE BOOKS and cats... So I dressed Miss Dizzy Lizzy up for a royal tea party with her best hat, and had tea served as the royal ladies would... The message inside encouraged, rest, tea, and reading ....All for a sweet lady in need of some healing after surgery.
I used Navy and Rich Razzleberry card stock by SU, some dp by SU and a touch of pink pirouette...I colored the cat and tea cup with markers then used a Versa Marker to the tea cup and heat embossed with clear embossing powder to give it some shine...I added a piece of silver thread to sheer ribbon and some bling to the flowers , again to dress it up a touch
Thank you for visiting Miss Lizzy... She is a bit dizzy, but so loves company...
And as always, thanks for stopping by... See you next time ...

March is here, along with the winds
My first card is one I made simply because I was looking at some different challenges.I found this one on SCS. It was called TLC and this week we were asked to use only one color of ink... I remembered using this image a few years ago to make a birthday card for a sweet friend... So I pulled out the stamp set, and decided on some DP and just started playing...
I used Guava dp and guava ink, both retired from SU... Sheer ribbon peach tone pearls... I used my new Spellbinders die Label # 18 and kept it fairly simple...I thought the dp was enough, no need to emboss or layer
And this is the one from a few years ago ...Again it was one color of ink, I think this image is pretty done this way...I used glossy card stock on both of these cards. This one is on celery card stock, with pixie pink, the ribbon just happened to match perfectly and some pink glass dew drops added some extra detail...
I think both are good examples of clean lines, and simplicity..Neither of these cards are on a white card base... I guess that was just they way they transferred...
I am so glad you could stop by, I will have my Teapot Tuesday card up by tomorrow, so please try to stop back. We are sending some happy thoughts to a wonderful lady that loves to read books on Queen Elizabeth's time, and enjoys tea and kitties. She likes the colors of burgundy and navy blue...
So until then, thanks again, and I hope you are smiling... : )
